Brand Discovery
During the initial meet-and-greet phase, we have an onboarding call with our client. This session serves as an opportunity for both parties to familiarize themselves with each other.

Signing the Service Agreement
After mutual agreement, the necessary documents are prepared, and then the service contract is signed.

Planning the Inventory Transition
After signing the agreement, the inventory is sent to us. If the inventory is less than 1000 units, it’s transitioned in less than 24 hours; otherwise, it may take up to 2-4 days.

Inventory Audit and Storage
Once the inventory is shipped and an inventory audit is performed, it’s stored and ready to be picked up, packed, and shipped.

What level of visibility and reporting do you offer to track DTC orders, shipments, and inventory levels in real-time?

Inventory is maintained and accessible in real-time. Inventory also syncs in real-time after every transaction with the brand's e-commerce platform. Shipping reports, out-of-stock notifications, replenishment alerts, order management, and lot management are all features utilized and accessible in real-time.

How do you manage inventory levels and ensure stock availability for DTC sales, especially during peak seasons or promotions?

Inventory accuracy truthfully and undoubtedly begins with proper receiving workflows. We do not, under any circumstances, sacrifice receiving workflows and their details for any reason. Scanning, counting, quality assurance, inventory system updates, lot management, discrepancy recording and recording, and strategic inventory placement are all part of our receiving workflows.

How do you handle special packaging requirements or branded packaging for DTC orders?

Our founder has a brand-scaling background and understands, trains, and promotes brand uniqueness. We welcome, support, and set up workstations, custom tape dispensers, specific carton sizes (branded or unbranded), inserts, poly mailers, and other requirements. Foundationally, Ops Engine is set up to be “Your Warehouse Department.”

What technology and systems do you employ to ensure fast and accurate order fulfillment for DTC orders?

A successful DTC fulfillment center is a combination of a highly experienced operator plus a robust, state-of-the-art warehouse management system that includes order management, inventory management, warehouse execution, and shipping systems. One without the other is not the greatest experience, leading brands to experience operational challenges that prevent scaling. We use the ShipHero warehouse management solution.
