Job Description
Customer Service Representative (On-Site) – Ops Engine
Location: Valencia, CA | Job Type: Full-Time
Ops Engine is a fast-paced, high-performance 3PL fulfillment center serving direct-to-consumer and omnichannel brands. We’re looking for a Customer Service Representative who thrives on communication, organization, and problem-solving. This is not your average desk job — you’ll be a critical link between our clients and our warehouse operations, ensuring every order is fulfilled with excellence.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients via phone, email, text, Slack, and in-person interactions
- Communicate clearly and professionally, delivering timely updates and resolving customer inquiries with confidence and care
- Support the warehouse team by monitoring and maintaining inventory alignment
- Participate in hands-on projects such as cycle counts and other inventory accuracy initiatives
- Work directly with the founder to resolve operational challenges and provide client support on ad hoc projects
- Identify issues and propose solutions — we value a solution-oriented mindset over just identifying problems
- Own your workflow: prioritize and organize multiple tasks without dropping the ball
What You Bring:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills — professional, articulate, and positive in tone
- Typing speed of at least 50 WPM with high accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and ability to think critically under pressure
- Positive attitude with a proactive, “how can I help?” mindset
- Ability to work independently while being highly collaborative with warehouse staff and leadership
- Comfortable with light hands-on warehouse work (e.g., verifying inventory, conducting counts)
- Strong multitasking ability and experience working with customer service platforms and communication tools (Slack, GSuite, etc.)
Nice to Have (Not Required):
- Prior experience in e-commerce, fulfillment, logistics, or warehousing
- Experience using WMS, OMS, or CRM systems
Why Join Ops Engine:
- Work side-by-side with a founder who values transparency, impact, and growth
- Be part of a lean, supportive, and high-performing team
- Opportunity to wear multiple hats, learn quickly, and make a visible impact
- Competitive pay and long-term growth opportunities for the right candidate
To Apply:
Submit your resume along with a short note describing a time you solved a customer problem creatively. Bonus points if you’ve worked in a logistics or startup environment.
